Stacking Kit comes with one cable and two stacking modules to give each of two switches a single stacking port for a stacking connection.

Support for stack-wide management of two SuperStack 3 Switch 4400s (including Switch 4400 FX and Switch 4400 PWR) or two Switch 4400 SEs with one IP address.

Features

Use with a 3Com� SuperStack� 3 Switch 4400 Stack Extender Kit (3C17228) to connect three or more units. Stacking three units requires one Stacking Kit and one Extender Kit. An additional Extender Kit is required for each additional switch to be stacked.
Maximum capacity of 384 10/100 ports is reached with one Stacking Kit and six Extender Kits.
