Adds a 10GBASE-SR backbone link by enabling the XENPAK slots in selected 3Com switches and modules.

This XENPAK transceiver enables one 10GBASE-SR connection.

This XENPAK can be used in those 3Com switches and modules which support XENPAK transceivers. XENPAKs can be mixed and matched on a given switch to maximize flexibility.

10GBASE-SR connection provides affordable local high-performance connections.

Supports link length of up to 300 meters.

Multi-mode fiber only.

Will interoperate with other 10GBASE-SR transceivers such as the 3Com 10GBASE-SR XFP, 3CXFP94
