Adds a 10GBASE-ER backbone link by enabling the XFP slots in selected 3Com switches and modules.

This XFP transceiver enables one 10GBASE-ER connection.

This XFP can be used in those 3Com switches and modules which support XFP transceivers. XFPs can be mixed and matched on a given switch to maximize flexibility.

10GBASE-ER connection for ultra-high-performance links.

Supports link length of up to 40 kilometers using single-mode fiber.
