This module provides an ultra-high-performance 10-Gigabit Ethernet connection with its XFP slot.

10-Gigabit Ethernet is a standards-based method for connecting at performance 10x that of Gigabit Ethernet, and is the perfect aggregation technology when deploying gigabit to the desktop or for interconnecting core and distribution switches.

Provides a single high-performance 10-Gigabit fiber optic connection between devices for bandwidth-intensive applications.

Uses industry-standard XFP modular transceivers, sold separately, to provide a flexible physical media connection.

Easily inserts into the XENPAK slot on the back of any model of the Switch 4200G family, adapting it to use XFPs instead.

XFP required for operation; sold separately.

As this module fits into the XENPAK slot of a Switch 4200G, and XENPAK currently there must be removed.
